Well we finally did it! Combined 53 years Experience! 

 

Ivan North and his step daughter Heather Engelage have been working together for others for 17 years we finally decided to just open their own insurance agency together.  Heather has been running insurance offices for 17 years and is beyond wonderful helping clients with whatever they need and following up with companies to make sure they do what we are asking to have done. Ivan has been in the insurance industry for 36 years and he always wants to make sure the client understands things and only moves forward if it is the right fit for them. Neither of them like high pressure sales people and doesn't feel it is necessary if they show the value they can bring to you and it fits in your plan and it improves your situation. Together they offer a focus on making sure you feel comfortable and they work on building trust and a solid relationship with anyone they work with. 

 

 

Ivan North Ivan has provided retirement planning and insurance products to the residents of Missouri since 1983. Ivan’s success has been based on explaining things to his clients in terms easily understood. After two years as an agent he was promoted to Asst. District Manager and in his second year achieved the number one staff for the entire company.

He was promoted again to District Manager for the entire state of Louisiana, managing 30 agents. He returned to St. Louis in 1992 to manage 45 agents and again became the number one agency for the entire company.

Ivan was raised in Wright City as the youngest of nine children, 8 boys and 1 girl. He was a local student from kindergarten all the way through high school graduation. While growing up, he worked on his family’s farm. He loves being outside or in the woods, so if he is not at the office, there’s a good chance that is where you will find him.

In 1998 his wife (Heather’s mom) of 16 years passed away which changed his life drastically and certainly humbled him to understand what families go through during those horrible times.

In 2010 he was married to his new adorable wife Mary in the Cayman Islands and they reside in St. Charles, MO. Combined they have three daughters with a grandson, three granddaughters, two kittens, two big birds and two guinea pigs.

Ivan's motto during his career has been taking the time to get to know his clients, their needs and goals in life. He believes that when you know your client he can deliver the best solution to their needs. Then he explains the pros and cons allowing the client to make an educated decision.                      

Ivan has a vast amount of knowledge of the different companies and products available to help people with retirement planning, protecting their income and using life insurance as a tax free wealth transfer. 

 

 

Heather Engelage Heather has been in the insurance industry working alongside her stepfather, Ivan North, since early 2002. With family encouragement and a desire to learn the ins and outs of the business, she quickly became a licensed producer in 2004, and has since gained a vast knowledge of the products and services available to her clients based on their needs.

Living on a family farm with her wonderful daughter next to her father and grandmother. Most of her evenings consist of sharing a meal with four generations of family around one happy farm table. Her small-town values and morals play a significant role in making connections and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers.

As a single-parent, Heather takes great pride in helping individuals and families secure their futures by providing them with the insurance products that best suit their lifestyles while providing top-notch customer service that gives her clients piece of mind.

On a personal note, she loves raising her daughter, spending time with family, enjoying concerts and camping and floating the rivers. She also loves finding time to take her two Wave Runners out to ride the waves, mostly on lakes but really enjoys riding the high waves in the ocean.
